Wonderful parties at Finchley Road, boxing day lunches and being allowed to play Brag with the grownups, Uncle Geoff always keeping an eye on me, the first time I was allowed to join the grownups to the pub down the road. Uncle Geoff making his own way to my wedding, possibly on the bus as he couldn’t drive, when Babs had to go into work at the last minute, him coming to my Silver wedding anniversary, staying over and coming down to breakfast in a full England kit for the game later that day! The trips to Fleetwood and Blackpool, him being so proud taking us to the club, him getting Chris very drunk every time and thinking it was hilarious, the kindest funniest and most gentle of men, we will miss him so very much. Thank you for being such an important part of my life xxxx
