As a little boy, Geoff was my protector and as I grew up he became my hero. Taking me to watch Man City, letting me learn Don and winning lots at the Firbank, Morning Drives to Blackpool and playing Darts at his local. Later we used to meet up at The City Road Inn every Friday for a couple of lunchtime pints with his workmates. More recently we rekindled our relationship and have spent many great and enjoyable times together, too many to mention.
